InteliExpress, an international money transfer system, was founded in Georgia in 2006. It is the first Georgian international money transfer system to be licensed in the European Union, Georgia, Ukraine, and other countries of the former Soviet Union.
Founded in Georgia, InteliExpress expanded its operations to Greece, followed by Italy, Cyprus, and Turkey, where it operates through its own branch network. Through partnerships with banks and financial institutions, InteliExpress services are now available in more than 70 countries across nearly every continent, with the network continuing to grow.

Intellexpress offers customers money transfers and additional financial services through more than 100 partners in over 70 countries worldwide. Through its extensive partner network, IntelliExpress fully covers Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova, the Philippines, Israel, Pakistan, India, Albania, and more than 50 other countries.

Path of development
Company Foundation
InteliExpress was founded in Tbilisi and obtained a license from the National Bank of Georgia, marking the first major milestone in the company's growth.
Expansion into International Markets
InteliExpress expanded into international markets by obtaining a license from the Bank of Greece. In the same year, the company opened its first branches in Athens and Thessaloniki.
Integration with Global Compliance Systems
InteliExpress integrated with global compliance systems, including OFAC and Dow Jones Risk & Compliance, while expanding its network across Europe and Asia.
Payment Institution Status
As a regulated financial institution, IntelliExpress has obtained "Payment Institution status" in Greece to provide payment services in European countries, under Directive 2007-64-EC.
Expansion into the United Kingdom
InteliExpress became an agent of an authorized payment institution in the United Kingdom, opened an office in London, and expanded its services to include foreign currency exchange.
Expansion of the International Network
Intellexpress expanded its international network: it opened its first own office in Italy (Bari), expanded its operations in Turkey, and launched a new service — "Ship Today, Pay Tomorrow.".
Mastercard Standard Membership
InteliExpress became the first non-bank financial institution in Georgia to obtain Mastercard Principal Member status.
Expansion into the Asian Market
InteliExpress obtained a license from the National Bank of Kazakhstan and expanded its payment network across Asian markets, including Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, and China.
"Significant Payment System" Status
InteliExpress opened a new branch in London and obtained "Significant Payment System" status from the National Bank of Ukraine.
SEPA Transfers to Europe
InteliExpress was the first to introduce a European-standard service in Georgia, enabling customers to transfer funds to any bank account in Europe with highly competitive fees and fast processing times.
