On June 3, 2026, at the Museum of Byzantium and Christianity in Athens, the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Greece hosted an official reception dedicated to Georgia's Independence Day. The event's partners were IntelliExpress and Inex Group.

The ceremony was attended by members of the Greek government and parliament, representatives of the diplomatic corps, members of academic circles, friends of Georgia, and Georgian diaspora organizations. Among them was Dimitris Avramopoulos – a great friend of Georgia and the Georgian people, who also addressed the guests with a welcoming speech.

The event opened with live performances of the national anthems of Georgia and Greece. The audience was addressed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Greece, Levan Beridze, who highlighted the centuries-old friendly relations and the importance of partnership between Georgia and Greece.

The evening continued with impressive performances by Georgian diaspora choreographic ensembles, and guests also had the opportunity to taste Georgian wine.

Intellexpress and Inex Group are honored to support such important initiatives that help promote the culture, history, and international cooperation of Georgia. Such events once again highlight the role of the Georgian diaspora, partners, and friends of Georgia in further deepening relations between the two countries.
